*Gather *Grow *Go

Bible life Fellowship is a multi-cultural gathering of believers whose sole purpose is to worship and magnify the Lord Jesus in their midst. The fellowship’s main aim is to bring together people from all walks of life irrespective of where they are in life, and extend to them the unconditional love of God. It is in God’s presence that they worship and serve together irrespective of their background differences, with Christ becoming the object of every pursuit in their lives. It is our priority to honour our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ in all we do by carrying out his command to make disciples of all nations, (Matthew 28:19-20), develop them into mature believers who are Christ-like, and equip them for their ministry in the church and life mission in the world. Our vision is encapsulated in our acronym Motto of the 3G’S.

Whether we gather together in midweek or weekend church service, connect group or accountability group, we do so intentionally and purposefully with Christ as the centre of our affection and pursuit in every gathering.

Our gathering together has an objective of growth in four areas; growing in faith, in fellowship in friendship and in service to the church, community and the world. Discipleship is an integral component of our Ministry.

Once we are well equipped in the faith, we then take on the mandate of Christ’s commission to Go into the world making disciples of Christ, bringing the love of God and reconciliation. It is our vision to ensure that every believer is fruitful to produce other disciples for Christ.

Transforming Lives impacting communities to kingdom citizens.

Core values & beliefs

We believe the Bible, as originally given, to be without error. It is the inspired and infallible Word of God and the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:16) We believe that the Godhead exists co-equally and co-eternally in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - and that these three are one God, sovereign in creation, providence and redemption. We believe and affirm the true and proper deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His real and complete humanity, His sinless life, His authority and teaching, His substitutionary and atoning sacrifice through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His heavenly intercession and His second advent to receive His Church.

We believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit who proceeds from the Father and the Son and the necessity of His work in conviction of sin, repentance (John 16:8) , regeneration and sanctification(John 3), and that the believer is also promised an endowment of power as the gift of Christ through the baptism in the Holy Spirit with signs following. Through this endowment, the believer is empowered for fuller participation in the ministry of the Church, its worship, evangelism and service. (Acts 4:31) We believe in the universal sinfulness of all men since the Fall, rendering man subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.(Romans 3:23-24)

We believe in the necessity for salvation of repentance towards God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ by which the sinner is pardoned and accepted as righteous in God’s sight. This justification is imputed by the grace of God because of the atoning work of Christ, is received by faith alone and is evidenced by the Fruit of the Spirit and a holy life.(Romans 3:21-26)

We believe in the spiritual unity and the priesthood of all believers in Christ and that these comprise the universal Church, the Body of Christ.(1Peter 2:5-9) We believe in the ministries that Christ has set. We believe in the baptism of believers in water in obedience to the command of Christ (Matthew 28:19) and the commemoration of Christ’s death by the observance of the Lord’s Supper until His return.(1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

We believe that the Gospel embraces the needs of the whole man and that the Church is therefore commissioned to preach the Gospel to the world and to fulfil a ministry of healing and deliverance to the spiritual and physical needs of mankind.(Matthew 28:16-18). We believe in the personal, physical and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to reign in power and glory. (Matthew 24:30)

We believe in the resurrection of the dead and in the final judgement of the world, the eternal conscious bliss of the righteous and the eternal conscious punishment of the wicked. ( 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17/ Rev. 20:13)
